Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Smart Workflow (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Smart Workflow, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “Smart Workflow”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Service Description

Smart Workflow is an AI-powered Slack bot that enables teams to write, test, and deploy code through natural language commands. The Service includes:

  • Natural language to code generation using artificial intelligence
  • Automated code testing and quality assurance
  • Integration with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
  • One-click deployment to various cloud platforms
  • Code review and optimization suggestions

The Service is currently in private beta and may include experimental features. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Eligibility and Account Requirements

To use Smart Workflow, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
  • Have a valid Slack workspace with administrator privileges
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Be authorized to bind your organization to these Terms

User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

You are responsible for:

  • All content and code generated through the Service
  • Ensuring generated code meets your quality and security standards
  • Properly testing code before deployment to production systems
  • Maintaining appropriate access controls and permissions
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Respecting intellectual property rights of third parties
  • Securing your repository access tokens and API keys

Code Review and Responsibility

While Smart Workflow generates code using advanced AI, you remain fully responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating all generated code before deployment. AI-generated code should be treated as a starting point and may require modification to meet your specific requirements.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use Smart Workflow to:

  • Generate malicious code, malware, viruses, or security exploits
  • Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Infringe on intellectual property or proprietary rights
  • Generate code that violates platform terms of service
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or extract our AI models
  • Use the Service for cryptocurrency mining or similar resource-intensive tasks
  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or discriminatory
  • Circumvent usage limits or access controls
  • Share your account credentials or access tokens

Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content

You retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in your original content, code repositories, and data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service.

Generated Code

You own the code generated by Smart Workflow based on your prompts. However, we cannot guarantee that generated code is entirely original, as AI models may produce similar outputs for similar inputs across users.

Our Service

Smart Workflow and its underlying technology, including our AI models, algorithms, and software, are our proprietary property and protected by intellectual property laws.

Beta Service Disclaimer

Smart Workflow is currently in private beta. Beta services are provided for evaluation purposes and may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features. We make no warranties about the availability, reliability, or accuracy of beta services.

Use of beta services in production environments is at your own risk. We recommend thorough testing before deploying any generated code to production systems.

Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice
  • Make emergency updates without prior notice
  • Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
  • Impose usage limits to ensure fair access for all users

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
  • Use the Service in a way that poses security risks
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Fail to respond to security or abuse concerns

You may terminate your account at any time by uninstalling the Slack bot and contacting us to delete your data.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Service Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AI-generated code may contain errors, security vulnerabilities, or may not meet your specific requirements. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SMART WORKFLOW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Service interruptions or data loss
  • Security vulnerabilities in generated code
  • Third-party integrations or services

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Smart Workflow harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's Commercial Rules.

You waive any right to participate in class-action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you disagree with changes, you must stop using the Service.
